Although more companies have sought to leverage the global workforce to grow their businesses and expand their capabilities, doing so can lead to new challenges, particularly in regard to the payroll function. As the various rules and regulations of each country in which they operate can change rapidly and with little or no notice, organizations face numerous difficulties in keeping up and maintaining compliance. In light of these challenges, CloudPay is committed to helping multi-national organizations achieve and maintain success of their global payroll activities.
CloudPay’s industry-leading technology, combined with its team of payroll specialists and subject matter experts stationed across the globe, enable the company to provide multi-national organizations with the tools and services to ensure greater control and visibility of their payroll functions. As such, the company is pleased to present the “Going Global” series of webinars to share its industry insight with a larger audience. Drawing on the knowledge and expertise of its staff, the webinars will deliver insight into the biggest payroll issues affecting multinationals in key markets around the globe.
CloudPay will launch the series with the webinar, “An Insight into Brazil’s eSocial Legislation and its Impact on Organizations,” which will take place on Thursday, November 14, 2014 at 4:00 p.m. GMT/11:00 a.m. EST. During this session, Maricleier Rennie, global payroll solutions manager for CloudPay, will discuss Brazil’s new eSocial directive designed to collect labor, social security, tax and fiscal information related to hiring of employees. Rennie will explore its impact on employers and discuss how they can prepare for this law and ensure compliance. As with all webinars in the “Going Global” series, the session will be interactive, with attendees given the opportunity to ask questions.
“Since CloudPay’s inception, we have been committed to helping our clients understand the regulatory environment of any country in which they hire employees —and ensuring they remain informed about any changes impacting their payroll operations,” said Andrew Pearson, CEO of CloudPay. “With our new ‘Going Global’ webinar series, we look forward to sharing our expertise in the payroll landscape with the larger community, helping anyone with a stake in global payroll understand the biggest challenges and opportunities in leading markets around the world.”
