- Recertification of High Level Security Status Demonstrates Company’s Commitment to Protecting Customer Information -
RALEIGH, N.C. and LONDON, U.K. (February 21, 2013) – CloudPay, the pioneer and foremost provider of multi-national payroll technologies and services, today announced that it has achieved ISO 27001 recertification, reinforcing the company’s commitment to the security of its clients’ sensitive data.
As the most widely adopted security standard in the world, the ISO 27001 standard establishes the requirements for an Information Security Management System, which is a systematic approach to managing sensitive information. CloudPay had previously obtained full compliance with the global security standard in 2010, and the company has achieved recertification of its ISO 27001 compliance without any recorded major or minor non-conformities.
“The security of our customers’ payroll and business records is of critical importance and, accordingly, is a top priority for CloudPay. Therefore, we take every possible precaution to ensure such data is protected from loss, theft and damage,” said Andrew Pearson, CEO of CloudPay. “The reassurance that our processes comply with the ISO 27001 security standard, as well as our compliance with SSAE 16 and ISAE 3402 standards, provides our clients with the confidence that we are committed to maintaining the security of their information, and are successful in doing so.”
With recertification of ISO 27001 compliance status, CloudPay’s compliance suite currently holds the three leading client-facing data security compliance processes. An auditable standard, ISO 27001 covers known security issues, containing many control requirements and steering companies along a quantifiable path of assessments and improvements. Compliance with the standard demonstrates that CloudPay takes information security seriously and that effective security steps are in place across the company and its systems.
