CloudPay Appoints Paul Bartlett as President and Chief Operating Officer

RALEIGH, N.C. and LONDON, U.K. (January 11th, 2015) – CloudPay, the world’s only cloud-based platform for integrated global payroll and payments, today announced that Paul Bartlett, currently a member of the company’s board of directors, will assume the role of president and chief operating officer. In this new capacity, he will lead CloudPay’s internal operations and processes while helping to guide the company’s efforts as it continues to define the future of global payroll.
Throughout his career, Bartlett has focused on helping organizations work through the operational and strategic challenges faced by companies as they navigate different growth phases and economic cycles. He previously served as CEO or COO of three public companies and has lived and worked in the U.S., Europe and the Middle East. In addition to his work with CloudPay, he has also served as a partner of Rho Ventures since 2007, focusing on investments in SaaS, software related services and new media. Prior to Rho, he was a managing director at One Equity Partners (the equity arm of J.P. Morgan Bank), and also worked for Sprout Venture Capital Group as a general partner.
He received an MBA from Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business and an undergraduate degree from Princeton University. He is also an ongoing supporter of educational organizations and has served as a trustee to the American University in Cairo, Egypt for the last 10 years.
