“When you talk about what you get paid, it’s putting a number-dollar value on your time, and that can be really emotional,” Mollie explains in the episode. “It’s one thing to translate a dollar figure into a different currency—it’s a whole other thing to translate what payroll and benefits mean to individuals in that culture.
“Employers are looking at this financial data and payroll data to make the right decisions for their companies. Individuals are looking at their payroll and financial data to make the best decisions for themselves as individuals and as families.”
