UK and Irish Payroll Supervisor | Andover, UK

Our fast growing team are looking for a Payroll Supervisor who can bring their own unique energy and enthusiasm to work with multi-national companies in the UK region in order to promote a culture of continuous improvement.

“Payroll Supervisor, will specialize in managing payroll team, operational processing of the payrolls along with other existing CloudPay resources and able to work collaboratively with Cloudpay global payroll operations team and will highly collaborate with Cloudpay global operations team.”

Attributes and Experience Required:

  • CIPP diploma in payroll management is advantageous
  • 5 years’ experience in UK end to end payroll (preferably with bureau experience)
  • 2 years’ experience in Supervising or managing a team (although we will consider experienced payrollers looking to move into a Supervisor role)
  • Irish payroll experience would be a plus, but is not essential (we can train you)
  • Strong organisational and multi-tasking skills to meet deadlines
  • Team player with ability to share information and interact positively with others
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Assertive action and decision-making skills

Daily Duties and Main Responsibilities will include:

  • Supervision and development of Payroll Associates and Specialists
  • Provide payroll training and guidance to team members
  • Keep up to date with legislation changes for UK and Ireland
  • Work with a team to ensure the UK software is developed in line with legislation updates
  • Implement new Irish and UK payrolls when required
  • Assisting with the accurate & timely completion of outsourced weekly, bi-weekly, monthly and annual payrolls for the workforce in UK & Ireland
  • Collating all data required for accurate payroll processing in line with tight deadlines
  • Checking payroll input & output to ensure 100% accuracy
  • Reviewing existing payroll processes to seek out improvements
  • Assisting with phone and email queries promptly & effectively from both internal & external customers
  • Act as a back-up to manager during his/her absence on payroll processing issues
  • Perform monthly payroll processing for clients within UK and Ireland
