The Senior Payments Administrator will work with customer’s and payment providers to ensure all payments off the back of the payroll are made accurately and on time with managing the customer in all areas. The successful candidate will work with the Supervisors to provide a first-class service to our customers.

Attributes and Experience Required:

  • High Level of the Customer service skills required, including interpersonal skills to respond to client requests effectively
  • Able to communicate at all levels; deal with clients, payroll partners, payment solution providers and internal colleagues via all methods across multiple countries
  • Ability to solve problems and communicate findings pro-actively with Supervisors
  • A keen eye for detail
  • Flexible approach to managing own workload as well as supporting the team using planning and organization skills. Taking assertive action where required
  • Ability to adapt quickly to new processes and ways of working, including supporting the wider team with changes
  • Good knowledge of MS Office, Excel & Internet based software would be advantageous
  • Minimum of 5 GSCEs A - C, including Maths & English
  • A-levels preferred

Daily Duties and Main Responsibilities will include:

  • First point of escalation for any queries from customer or colleagues
  • Liaise with external vendors to ensure smooth processing
  • Assisting the Supervisors in working to strict deadlines to ensure all net and statutory payments are made correctly and on time
  • Overseeing funds are requested from customers in a timely manner and managing clients to ensure requests are complied with
  • Preparation of reconciliation reports for use by customers’ accounts department
  • Maintenance of process documentation as required
  • Ensuring bank details for any new payees are set up correctly
  • Working alongside Treasury Service Implementation team to ensure onboarding customers are correctly set up for the live environment
  • Any other Ad hoc duties as required
