Paid Search & Analytics Manager | Andover, UK

Our fast growing team in the UK is looking for highly skilled and analytical Paid Search & Analytics Manager to help scale-up and drive our paid search and SEO marketing activity and be the go-to person for data analysis and insights that will contribute to CloudPay’s growth strategies.

 

This is an exciting and new opportunity to play a key role in the strategy, day-to-day management and hands-on optimization of our search channels, in order to drive performance in line with ROI targets.

 

Managing the day-to-day delivery of Paid Search/Pay Per Click (PPC) campaigns includes account setup, keywords selection and expansion, audience segmentations, negative keyword governance, website and category exclusions, ad creative and landing page revisions.

 

The successful candidate can identify and interpret trends and patterns to provide actionable recommendations to hone marketing campaigns for optimum performance. This role will report directly to the Director of Demand Generation.

Attributes and Experience Required:

  • Extensive experience in performance marketing (especially paid search, from strategy to implementation and reporting)
  • High level knowledge of the paid search marketing landscape, tools, vendors, and keen interest to keep track of new developments
  • Deep knowledge of paid search engine advertising tools (Google, Bing, Yahoo) and bid management systems
  • Experience using PPC/SEO tools such as Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, Google Pagespeed Insights, AccuRanker, Moz, Ahrefs, SEMRush
  • Excellent understanding of marketing analytics with experience converting data into actionable insights
  • Advanced analytical skills and ability to interpret data and identifying trends
  • Experienced in creating reports/dashboards
  • Highly proficient in MS Excel
  • Experience of using Hubspot is desirable
  • Experience of using leading BI tools such as MS PowerBI, Google Datastudio would be advantageous
  • Commercially minded, analytical and proactive 
  • Excellent communication skills across a variety of stakeholder levels

 

Daily Duties and Main Responsibilities will include:

  • Create, deploy and optimise Paid Search and Display campaigns/activity across multiple channels to achieve commercial targets
  • Optimising paid search and advertising display network campaigns including keyword portfolio development, bid adjustment, A/B testing, audience building, remarketing, and landing page optimisation. Constantly devising new experiments to find growth areas
  • Monitoring, tracking and evaluating PPC campaign performance, based on KPI targets including CTR, CPC, CPL and conversion rates
  • Conducting technical SEO analysis with a focus on search rankings, search terms, backlinking, competitor SEO benchmarking, and recommendations to improve website content
  • Keeping up to date with paid search best practices, bid management systems, keyword development tools and industry research
  • Analyzing campaigns and translating anecdotal and qualitative data into recommendations and plans for revising the campaigns to improve key performance indicators on an ongoing basis
  • Constantly developing our digital strategy with a test and learn approach, implementing new technologies where appropriate to drive qualified traffic to relevant websites
  • Collaborating with the marketing team to guide A/B tests, incrementality tests, and spend scaling tests on campaigns online and offline to identify what works best
  • Collating data from multiple sources across all marketing activities to use in reports, and applying best-in-class analytical techniques to provide meaningful insights that help improve effectiveness
  • Conducting campaign and chanel analysis across all marketing channel, offline and online, to provide data-driven recommendations that support a growth marketing strategy for test & learn experiments, continual refinement and optimisation
  • Building and maintaining a suite of dashboards and reports to track marketing performance
