POSITION SUMMARY
What is an Implementation Consultant (IC)? As an Implementation Consultant, you will provide support to the Project Team with the setting up of new clients and payroll solutions onto the CloudPay platform.

The primary functions of the role are:
  • To support project teams in the implementation of new clients onto the CloudPay platform. As part of CloudPay’s payroll implementation team, the Implementation Consultant will work closely with Project Managers and Payroll Subject Matter Experts/In Country Providers
  • The IC will be responsible for performing requirements analysis, payroll system configuration and testing. This is a high visibility client facing role which requires acting as the client's main point of contact for payroll specific queries arising at any point of time during the implementation life cycle. The Implementation consultant will also be responsible for communication with the Payroll subject matter experts and/or in country payroll providers to ensure payroll compliance is applied
  • A fully supported Company training programme is in place to support the role

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Payroll set-up analysis will be an integral part of this role and the responsibilities will include:
  • Creating documentation outlining payroll tasks and responsibilities
  • Creating calendars outlining timelines of a payroll process
  • Process parallel payrolls in line with client's own live payroll
  • Ensuring that testing of development work is thorough and is signed off by clients
  • Configuration and set up of the CloudPay software to ensure that employees are paid accurately
  • This role will be responsible for transitioning newly implemented projects to the Regional Operations team by documenting the “payroll handover form” specific to each implementation and shadowing the Operations team during the project stabilization period
  • Strong inter-personal skills with the ability to articulate and document client requirements is required as this role would frequently act as the conduit between client user group and IT Engineering (Development and Testing) teams
  • A good understanding of payroll is desirable but full training and support will be provided in order to be able to review and validate client’s current payroll details for completeness and quality of information provided as well as to perform gap analysis between the client’s current payroll and CloudPay’s payroll platform
  • Undertake training as required to keep up to date with company software improvements and department procedure requirements

POSITIONS SPECIFICATIONS
Experience – Desirable
  • Experience in implementation of Payroll and/or HR solutions
  • Experience in service delivery and consultancy
  • Experience in process analysation and improvement
  • Payroll processing experience. Knowledge of different international payrolls and statutory requirements.
  • Competent with MS Office/Google suite of software.
  • Communicating with Clients/and other external stakeholders
  • Experience of preparing and delivering training / presentations
