The HR Payroll Specialist is primarily responsible for processing payroll and maintaining the employee database regarding salary and pay of all Philippines employees.

Attributes and Experience Required:
  • Previous working experience as a Payroll Specialist for 2 or more years
  • BSc/BA in accounting/business or similar relevant field
  • In-depth knowledge of Philippine payroll land payroll-related accounting principles
  • Experience in using an HR system or any HR/Payroll software is preferred
  • Proficiency with MS Office Word and Excel software
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion
  • Excellent problem solving/judgment skills, and high-level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong organizational skills, and ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks and meet all deadlines
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Timely responsiveness to internal and external inquiries
  • Team player who can collaborate with other teams in the organization
  • Must be willing to work in Makati, Philippines
Daily Duties and Main Responsibilities Will Include:
  • Responsible for bi-monthly payroll preparation, review and processing of all PH employees in a timely and accurately manner
  • Responsible for monthly payroll preparation, review and processing of all CN and SG employees in a timely and accurately manner
  • Has working knowledge in APAC laws and regulations
  • Has working knowledge HR systems and its policies and procedures, with limited supervision
  • Determine the right payroll amount by calculating overtime, bonuses and other pay elements applicable to APAC
  • Reviews the website of PH-DOLE and SG-MOM on a weekly/monthly basis to make sure the company is aware of any changes in the law and/or guidelines which impact employee compensation and benefits
  • Manage payroll workflow to ensure all payroll transactions are processed timely and accurately
  • Prepare payroll payments and ensure payroll funding is in place in coordination with Finance Department
  • Analyze, calculate and determine appropriate approach regular and final payouts in accordance with APAC regulatory guidelines
  • Maintains organized, efficient and accurate records/filing system of all payroll records, both electronic and printed copies
  • Identify and propose solutions for process improvements
  • Answer employees' questions about payroll
  • Compile key operational payroll metrics & dashboards
  • Prepare periodic payroll reconciliation and submit reports to the payroll manager for review
  • Complete payroll audit checklist, as needed
  • Assist with special projects, as requested
