Attributes and Experience Required:

  • Prior experience of Enterprise Risk Management, Compliance or assurance would be an advantage
  • Qualifications within Compliance or Risk or demonstrable prior experience
  • Extremely well-organised, with the ability to work autonomously to handle competing workload demands
  • Proactive at setting own priorities whilst contributing to the wider Assurance functions’ plans
  • Take ownership for outcomes and progress towards these as an individual contributor and as part of a team
  • Strong interpersonal skills enabling the jobholder to influence and work with people at all levels of CloudPay’s organisation and our vendor network
  • Ability to communicate effectively in written as well as spoken form. Fluency in a second major language (ideally Spanish, French, Chinese) would be an advantage but not required

Daily Duties and Main Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Support the Senior Manager for delivery of the corporate risk management framework
  • Support senior stakeholders within business functions by providing timely input that support the execution of programmes of work and change initiatives
  • Evaluate the corporate risk exposure, on a quarterly basis, and be able to articulate how business decision-making or external factors influence the overall performance of CloudPay
  • Demonstrate the ability to define, and produce, high-quality content for CloudPay’s Leadership team and senior management enabling key risk indicators and metrics to be reported and trends identified
  • Expand upon the existing risk management programme by engaging with business stakeholders across the CloudPay Group of companies globally to ensure decision-making is influenced by clearly articulated risk appraisals of the benefits of, and impact to, CloudPay’s payroll and Treasury business activities
  • Provide a professional opinion, and challenge existing thinking on a variety of business topics and corporate initiatives to ensure risks are within the corporate risk appetite statement
  • Collaborate with other staff, collectively forming the Risk, Governance, Business Compliance, Information Security and Legal functions, to achieve the twin goals of (i) revenue protection and (ii) sustainable profitability
  • Assist with other ad hoc functional duties as required
