BDM (Business Development Manager | US

Our fast-growing Enterprise sales team in the US is looking for an experienced Business Development Manager (“BDM”) who will be responsible for sourcing prospects, managing inbound leads, qualifying prospects and leading the sales process. In this function, the BDM acts as a representative of the Company as well as a liaison between the prospect and internal CloudPay representatives.

“The BDM will need to partner with Pricing, Legal, Implementation and Operations throughout the lifecycle of a prospect becoming a customer.”

Attributes and Experience Required:
  • Experience in selling SaaS technology and business services to Enterprise sized multinational organizations (>1000 total employees), experience in the Human Capital Management sector, linked to payroll is a plus, but not required
  • Experience selling into global organizations preferred, but primarily focused on US HQ’s, with global footprints, with multiple influencers and decision-makers
  • Experience selling to HR, Finance and Accounting personas
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, deadline driven environment
Daily Duties and Main Responsibilities will include:
New Business
  • Handle sales cycles and present value of our enterprise SaaS global payroll applications
  • Prospect for potential new clients over phone and video conferencing and convert into new clients
  • Reach assigned activity plans
  • Follow-up and manage all assigned leads (from lead generation, web inquiries, third parties, etc.)
  • Prepare proposals that speak to the prospect’s needs, concerns, and objectives. Develop strategic selling approach for each prospect
  • Run discovery and demonstration meetings
  • Prepare pricing for approval
  • Attend industry functions as assigned and approved by management, such as association events and conferences, and provide feedback and information on market and creative trends
Administration
  • Review weekly progress against sales plan and activity plan with sales leadership
  • Ensure data is accurately entered and managed within CRM
  • Continue to manage and update your pipeline throughout the year
  • Support the response and development of any RFP’s & RFI’s assigned
  • Contribute to on-going sales and marketing department projects when assigned (e.g., change proposal structure, feedback to marketing on lead qualification, etc.)
