APAC Payroll Specialist | Singapore

Attributes and Experience Required:
  • Candidate must be at least a Bachelor’s or College Degree in Finance/Accounting / Financial Management/Banking or any experiences equivalent
  • Experience working in an outsourcing environment or have managed large-in-house payroll headcount will be an advantage
  • A good working knowledge and understanding on the whole payroll processing cycle including filing of government claims and tax submission
  • Preferably to have 3-5 years payroll experiences handing Asia Pacific Region (APAC) or international payroll and associated rules of countries (e.g. Singapore, Hong Kong, Malaysia & etc)
  • Proficiency in MS Office with strong MS Excel skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Able to work under pressure and as part of a team
  • Understanding of SG or HK Payroll law and policy as it pertains to service centre support models and implementation

 

Daily Duties and Main Responsibilities Will Include:
CloudPay is looking for an experienced APAC Payroll Specialist to cover the following responsibilities: -
  • Provide Hong Kong payroll and operational support services relating to payroll services to clients
  • Perform regular and supplementary payroll processing runs for Hong Kong
  • Processing and disbursement of Hong Kong payrolls on time with a high degree of accuracy
  • Plan, coordinate and assist with payroll across all Hong Kong payroll and ensure that payroll cycles and deadlines for multiple clients are adhered to by all parties involved in the payroll cycle.
  • Perform Monthly submission of MPF & IR56 tax report.
  • Perform reconciliation, reporting & submission of Hong Kong Year-end Tax
  • Ensure that all payroll services provided are in accordance to organization policies and agreed work details with clients meeting the Service Level Agreement.
  • Liaising with partners, where necessary to provide client services
  • Perform payroll payment process via generating fund request to Treasury Team
  • Managing and attending to all payroll matters and queries from clients via e-mails, calls and meetings, on a timely manner (within 24 hours turnaround time)
  • Distribution of payroll reports to various business units
  • Update payroll manual as and when on a timely basis
  • Ensure that all payroll services provided are in accordance to organization policies, and agreed work details with clients meeting the Service Level Agreement
  • Contribute to the improvement of both the SOP and system
