Alliances Technical Implementation Consultant | San José, Costa Rica

This is an excellent opportunity to join an established team in a growing global company. This is an office based role in our Alliances team to help support a key business initiative to build new integration support.

The primary functions of the role are:-

  • To support project teams in the implementation of new HR integrations to the CloudPay platform. As part of CloudPay’s Alliances team, the Technical Implementation Consultant will work closely with Project Managers, Payroll Subject Matter Experts/In Country Providers and project teams at CloudPay’s partners
  • The IC will be responsible for performing requirements analysis, payroll system configuration and testing. This is a high visibility role which requires acting as the main point of contact for payroll and interface specific queries arising at any point of time during the integration project life-cycle 

The Implementation consultant will also be responsible for communication with the Payroll subject matter experts, in-country payroll providers, and external integration consultants to ensure payroll compliance is applied

Attributes and Experience Required:

  • Experience in implementation of Payroll and/or HR solutions (Desirable)
  • Experience in service delivery and/or consultancy (Desirable)
  • Experience in process analysis and improvement (Required)
  • Payroll processing experience (Desirable)
  • Knowledge of different international payrolls and statutory requirements (Desirable)
  • Competent with MS Office/Google suite of software
  • Prior project management experience preferred, along with familiarity with PM tools
  • Communicating with Clients/and other external stakeholders
  • Experience of preparing and delivering training / presentations

Daily Duties and Main Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Creating documentation outlining interface functionality, including user guides
  • Ensuring that testing of development work is thorough and is signed off by all stakeholders
  • Configuration and set up of the CloudPay software
  • Processing test input data and confirming results are as expected
  • Strong inter-personal skills with the ability to articulate and document client requirements is required as this role would frequently act as the conduit between technical user group and IT Engineering (Development and Testing) teams
  • A good understanding of payroll is desirable but full training and support will be provided (including rotations in other departments)
  • Undertake training as required to keep up to date with company software improvements and department procedure requirements
