Position Summary
Responsibility for providing administrative support to the CFO, Legal, Risk, Business Compliance functions. This will include, amongst other activities:
  • Maintaining compliance logs and the data protection database
  • Drafting memo’s and training on data protection issues at employee level, with support
  • Carrying out privacy impact assessments and assist in the vendor assessment project
  • Being a professional point of contact for internal and external stakeholders
  • Drafting various compliance policies, procedures and annual training programs, with guidance / support from the relevant internal stakeholders
  • Providing support on corporate compliance objectives
  • Managing day to day contract administrational duties, including triage of shared mailboxes’ inbound communications
  • Assisting with other ad hoc functional administrational duties as required
Key Responsibilities
  • Supporting the identified business functions with the timely execution of programmes of work and change initiatives
  • Providing corporate administrative / secretarial support, which includes maintenance of corporate registers (data protection, shareholder, insurance, property, IP and legal risk) and related activity
Position Requirements
  • Extremely organised and able to proactively prioritise and manage competing workload demands
  • Great attention to detail
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint and able to produce high quality documents
  • Able to drive things forward both independently and as part of a team
  • Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to work with people at all levels
  • Previous experience working with legal contracts, company secretarial or data protection issues would be desirable
  • Ability to communicate effectively in written as well as spoken form. Fluency in a second language would be an advantage but not required
  • Prior experience of the following would also be an advantage but not essential;
  1. working in a technology environment
  2. complying with regulatory frameworks such as anti-money laundering legislation
  3. managing data protection processes
  4. working within a global organisation
