Andrew Pearson
As CEO of CloudPay, Andrew Pearson is leading the next phase of growth for this award-winning provider of payroll management technology and services for multinationals.
Prior to joining the company in 2010, Andrew was Managing Director, EMEA at IntraLinks. Earlier in his career, he was responsible for sales, marketing and business development operations across EMEA and APAC for information security vendor Workshare. He later assumed global responsibility for Workshare’s document control market unit, managing engineering, QA, product marketing and product management of the company’s flagship product lines. Prior to joining Workshare, Andrew was a key founding member of enterprise content management leader Vignette’s European management team.
Andrew holds a bachelor’s degree in Physics and an MBA degree from Warwick Business School.
Carl Kiel
Carl Kiel is a member of the board of directors of CloudPay. He has twenty years experience serving as a CEO and President of technology based service companies, ranging from early stage private companies to publicly traded enterprises.
Carl has extensive experience and understanding of, and expertise in, the global payroll and human resources sectors. He held the position of President of the Data Services Group at ITEL, Senior Vice President of Marketing and Product Management at ADP and President of the Employer Services Group at Ceridian, a group whose revenues he grew from $320 million to over $800 million.
Carl holds a BS Engineering and a BA Math from Bucknell University.
Patrick Wack
Patrick Wack is a member of the board of directors of CloudPay and a venture partner of Rho Ventures. Over the past 20 years, Patrick has successfully helped create and lead high-growth companies in technology and health care services.
Patrick joined Rho in 2008 and focuses on investments in information technology, particularly Software-as-a-Service (SaaS). Prior to Rho, Patrick was CEO of Rho portfolio company IntraLinks, a pioneer of SaaS and the world’s leading supplier of collaboration solutions to financial service and life science companies. He led the company from $15 million to $125 million in revenue and still serves as Chairman.
From 1991 to 1996, Patrick was COO of Professional Sports Care Management, a leading provider of outpatient physical therapy that experienced significant growth, went public and was eventually sold to a Fortune 500 company.
Patrick received a B.S.E. from Princeton University. He is a former college football player and an active tennis player.
Paul Bartlett
Paul Bartlett is Chairman of the board of directors of CloudPay and a partner of Rho Ventures. Through first-hand experience, he understands the operational and strategic challenges management teams face when building companies through different growth phases and economic cycles.
Paul joined Rho in 2007 and focuses on investments in software and new media. Prior to Rho, he was an executive-in-residence at New Enterprise Associates and managing director at One Equity Partners, the private equity arm of JP Morgan Bank. He has also worked with Sprout Venture Capital Group, where he spent seven years and left as a general partner. Previously, he spent eight years in operating positions as either CEO or COO for three public companies.
Paul’s interests include Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) business models, traditional IT data and security products, online marketing and ad-driven businesses as well as other emerging new media opportunities. He received an M.B.A. from Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business and an undergraduate degree from Princeton University. He has an on-going interest in supporting educational organizations and has served for the last 10 years as a trustee to the American University in Cairo, Egypt.
